Hereinafter referred to as the "Provider"
The Provider hereby issues, in accordance with Section 1751 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Code"), these GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (hereinafter referred to as "GTC"):
The subject of these GTC is to regulate the conditions for providing accommodation and related services to the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Client"). The GTC form an integral part of all agreements between the Provider and the Client. By confirming the Provider’s Offer or making a reservation (hereinafter referred to as the "Reservation"), the Client acknowledges these GTC as binding for all transactions related to them.
A stay at Terasy Sedlec can be booked in writing (preferably by filling out and submitting the Reservation form or via email to the Provider) or by phone (in such a case, the reservation is considered accepted only after written confirmation - after submitting the Reservation form and subsequent confirmation of the stay period) or through the Booking service.
The reservation can be made by the Client for themselves or on behalf of a third party. The Provider may confirm the reservation using the same method as the original request. The Reservation (Order) must include:
The Provider generally processes preliminary reservations within 48 hours. It either confirms or rejects preliminary reservations or suggests an alternative date to the Client.
The reservation is considered accepted only after written confirmation from the Provider. The Client must review the confirmation and report any changes within 24 hours.
The reservation is binding. The scope of the contracted services and prices are determined by the details in the reservation confirmation (invoice).
To confirm the reservation, a deposit of 100% of the accommodation price must be paid no later than 5 days after the reservation is made (invoice issuance). The deposit is considered paid once the corresponding amount is credited to the Provider’s bank account unless otherwise agreed. If the deposit is not duly paid by the Client, the Provider reserves the right to cancel the reservation and charge applicable cancellation fees according to section 6 of these GTC.
The Client must pay the accommodation and service fees, as well as the deposit, by bank transfer to the Provider’s account.
Prices are listed in the Price List on the website.
The Client is entitled to use the reserved accommodation and services as confirmed in the reservation. The Client must check the reservation details for accuracy. If any discrepancies are found, the Client must immediately contact the Provider via email or phone.
Upon arrival, the Client must present a valid ID, passport, or another identity document. After completing the necessary check-in formalities, the Client is accommodated and provided with relevant stay information.
The Client has the right to use the accommodation unit and its facilities for the agreed period. The garden may be used at the Client’s own risk.
The accommodation unit at Terasy Sedlec is handed over to the Client via self-check-in from 16:00.
The Client must handle the Provider’s property with care. Any detected faults or damages to the facilities must be reported to the Provider immediately. The Client must maintain cleanliness and order throughout the accommodation and surrounding areas. Night-time quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00. The Client is responsible for securing their personal belongings to prevent theft. The Provider does not insure personal items and is not responsible for their loss.
The Client has the right to file a complaint about deficiencies in the provided services. Complaints must be made promptly to allow for a resolution as soon as possible.
The Client receives the keys to the accommodation unit via self-check-in upon arrival. Any lost keys must be reported to the Provider immediately. Keys are the property of the Provider. If lost, the Client is responsible for covering the costs of lock replacement and any additional expenses incurred by the Provider.
If the Client violates these GTC or grossly breaches the rules of conduct, the right to accommodation is immediately terminated. In such a case, the Provider may cancel the accommodation services without any refund.
The Provider may extend the Client’s stay only if capacity allows.
If the Client ends their stay earlier than planned, the Provider reserves the right to charge for the entire booked period.

If the Client fails to check in and does not cancel in writing, the reservation is canceled, and 100% of the booking cost is charged.
These GTC are an integral part of the accommodation order. If the Client does not receive them, they may request a copy from the Provider. The Client must review the terms before booking, and the Provider ensures their availability through the website, reservation forms, email communications, or upon request.
These General Terms and Conditions take effect on March 1, 2025.
Changes and additions to these terms can only be made in writing between the Provider and the Client.
